I tend to disagree when people say that giving is more important than receiving. In a culture that believing “martyrdom” is a way of life, I cannot blame them for believing so. I’ve always believed that giving is done best when is comes from the heart. How can the heart be full when it does not know how to receive?

A lot of people I know keep on giving until they are just empty shells craving for other peoples approval.

Consider giving and receiving graciously next time. When someone offers a complement or jokes to you about how you’ve become so successful or beautiful all of a sudden, simply say “thank you” and avoid saying “its nothing.” By saying “thank you,” you tell the Universe that you are receiving the good and that you feel worthy to receive the blessing. If you deny it, how can the universe give you what you yourself cannot or do not want to believe in. You can still be humble by not bragging about it. You are just accepting what is due you because some one noticed has it happening to you.

Giving creates space for more receiving. It is the Universal Law that one cannot flow without the other. This month, a lot of the astrological signs are going to receive graciously just as you give graciously.
